Which languages and entities are supported?

Our standard model supports 10 languages (DE, EN, FR, ES, IT, NL, LV, PT, ZH, AR) and recognizes persons, locations, and organizations. The specialized EN model additionally detects over 20 PII types (e.g., IBAN, credit cards, email). The synthesis model officially supports 8 languages (incl. DE, EN, FR, IT, HI, PT, ES, TH).

How does the local processing work?

The software uses state-of-the-art deep learning architectures. Once installed, the AI works 100% offline on your CPU/GPU. No texts are transmitted to external servers – your data remains in your local archive.

Why is an internet connection required for the first start?

To keep the installation file compact, the AI components are only loaded when the program is first started (one-time approx. 5–15 min. depending on the model). This is necessary because the models are several gigabytes in size. After that, no internet connection is required as long as the system environment does not change.

What is the difference between batch and mass processing?

The Pro version offers two modes: Batch processing (up to 10 files simultaneously) allows optional AI post-processing for quality control. Mass processing (up to 1,000 files) is optimized for maximum speed without post-processing.

Can I customize the detection?

Yes. Both the detection and synthesis models can be fine-tuned using parameters. In addition, the integrated Regex engine supports all 10 main languages to precisely capture specific patterns such as file numbers or in-house formats.

Are the results reversible?

Yes, in pseudonymization mode (e.g. via UUID), the software offers integrated de-pseudonymization. This allows you to assign the masked data in your local archive back to the original values at any time.

Is there a limit on the number of documents?

No. There is no artificial quantity limit or credit system. Since processing is done locally on your hardware, you can mask as many documents as your hardware can handle.

How many licenses do I receive per purchase?

Each purchase includes one single-user license. This entitles you to install and use the software on one device. If you wish to use the software on multiple workstations, simply select the desired quantity in the shop.

Are there any usage restrictions on content?

The software is designed for professional use. There are no restrictions regarding the type of documents (contracts, judgments, files) as long as the use complies with the license terms.
